Important status
This is a draft for quoting, attorney review, and insurance review. Winter service carries special slip, ice, weather, and equipment risks that must be reflected in the final customer agreement.
1. Service scope
Winter service may include autonomous driveway clearing, boundary setup, equipment checks, and remote monitoring. It does not guarantee bare pavement, ice removal, salting, emergency response, or municipal snow compliance unless a written quote says so.
2. Weather response
Service timing depends on snowfall rate, wind, ice, equipment readiness, power availability, safe access, and local travel conditions. Extreme conditions may delay or cancel a service attempt.
3. Customer responsibilities
- Keep vehicles, trash bins, toys, hoses, decorations, extension cords, and debris out of the clearing area.
- Mark or disclose fragile edges, drainage grates, retaining walls, landscaping, uneven pavement, and gravel transitions.
- Keep people and pets away from the autonomous machine during operation.
- Maintain safe exterior power and connectivity where required by the equipment.
4. Ice and liability limits
Snow clearing is not the same as ice control. The client remains responsible for safe walking and driving decisions, ice treatment, refreeze monitoring, and any conditions outside the defined service scope.
5. Hardware ownership
If the client owns the robot or snow module, warranty claims, manufacturer defects, battery degradation, theft, vandalism, pet damage, and weather damage remain the client's responsibility unless a separate written hardware service plan says otherwise.
